AmpedUp! Networks EV Driver Mobile App Terms and Conditions
Introduction
By accessing and using the AmpedUp! Networks EV Driver mobile application and services, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions set forth below, you should not use the application or our services.
1. User Agreement
- By downloading and using the AmpedUp! Networks EV Driver Mobile App, you are entering into a binding contract with AmpedUp! Networks.
- This contract is comprised of these terms and conditions, our privacy policy, and any other terms specified within the app.
2. Registration and Account Security
- To use our EV charging network services, users need to register and create an account. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and you agree to notify AmpedUp! Networks immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Account Deletion & Data Retention
- Users have the right to delete their EV Driver account at any time using the 'Account Delete' option within the app.
- Upon account deletion, no personal data associated with the account is retained by AmpedUp! Networks.
- If there is a positive balance in the EV Driver account at the time of deletion, it can be returned in full upon request.
4. EV Driver Account Balance
- Your EV Driver Account Balance represents a positive amount of money temporarily held on your behalf in a non-interest bearing account managed by Stripe.com. This balance is facilitated by AmpedUp! Networks and is designated for the sole purpose of covering costs associated with the use of our network's charging stations.
- As you use the charging stations, your EV Driver Account Balance will be reduced in real-time based on the incurred costs during your EV charging session activities.
- Should your account balance fall below $5, AmpedUp! Networks will automatically charge your credit card, or the other payment method you have on file, an amount of $15 to replenish your balance.
- This automatic "refill" mechanism is designed to provide uninterrupted charging service and to eliminate any possibility of utilizing our system without sufficient funds for payment.
5. Payment Information Security
- AmpedUp! Networks prioritizes the security of your payment information. We do not store your payment details, such as credit card information, on the AmpedUp! Networks charging station management platform.
- Instead, all payment data is securely stored on Stripe.com's PCI compliant platform, ensuring that your sensitive information is handled with the utmost care and in accordance with the highest industry standards.
6. Changes to the Auto-add Amount
- The auto-add amount, currently set at $15, is a system-wide figure. AmpedUp! Networks reserves the right to modify this amount without prior notice.
7. Service Availability
- While we strive to provide continuous service, AmpedUp! Networks cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to its charging stations or the mobile application.
8. Liability Limitations
- AmpedUp! Networks is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages related to the use or inability to use our services.
